Day-to-day Responsibilities
The core of this role is to ensure a safe, secure atmosphere for both visitors and staff. Customer service excellence is continuously expected.
You will patrol the premises, provide visible security for colleagues, and use CCTV for crime prevention. Gatehouse duties may also be included.
Liaising with management, responding to incidents, and conducting checks form part of your regular duties. Search procedures are covered in training.
The role also requires basic PC skills to support reporting and access systems. Maintaining vigilance over security breaches is key.
Supporting site access and egress, deterring theft, and helping with vehicle bookings complete the team leader’s day-to-day routine.
